CONTEST RULES
(hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”)
“CVA07” CONTEST
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR ACCEPTANCE OF A PRODUCT OFFER WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
THIS CONTEST IS VALID ONLY IN CANADA. DO NOT PARTICIPATE IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING RULES. BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE RULES, WHICH CONSTITUTE A CONTRACT, AND THAT YOU AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THEM.
CONTEST PERIOD AND ORGANIZER
The “CVA07” contest (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”) is organized and administered by Canvai inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Organizer”). The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on June 20, 2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on October 12, 2025 (the “Contest Period”). The clock used by the Contest Organizer is the official clock to determine the date and time of receipt of an Entry.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada who hold a valid driver’s license and who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of the date of their Contest Entry. Employees of the Contest Organizer, its subsidiaries, advertising partners, Internet agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, and agents (collectively, the “Contest Entities”) and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent) and/or those living in the same household are excluded. The Contest is void where prohibited by law. All federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules. Winning the Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
HOW TO ENTER
No purchase is necessary.
There are two (2) ways to enter the Contest for a chance to win the Prize (as described below):
ENTRY THROUGH ONLINE PURCHASE
During the Contest Period, eligible entrants will receive one (1) Entry for every Canadian dollar ($1.00) spent on eligible products and merchandise purchased online from the Contest Organizer (each an “Online Entry”) on the Canvai.ca website (the “Website”). The number of Entries you receive will be based on the purchase price of your eligible purchase (excluding sales taxes and shipping fees) and will be rounded up to the nearest Canadian dollar ($1.00). If a purchase is returned prior to the Prize draw, the Entries associated with that purchase will be voided. Eligible entrants will receive one (1) Entry for each Canadian dollar ($1.00) spent on the purchase of a gift card, based on the value of the gift card purchased (e.g., a $50.00 gift card purchase will generate 50 Entries). Purchases made using a gift card are not eligible to receive Entries; however, a purchase that exceeds the value of the gift card will be eligible to receive Entries based on the balance due after the gift card has been applied to the item purchased (e.g., an eligible purchase of $100.00 using a $50.00 gift card will generate 50 Entries—the sales tax, shipping fees, etc., do not count towards Entries). All purchases are subject to the Contest Organizer’s return policy. Your purchase transaction must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST on October 12, 2025, and must include your consent to enter to be eligible to receive Entries via purchase for this Contest. There is no limit to the number of Entries received via purchase and participant consent. During the Contest Period, participants will also have the option to sign up to receive additional email communications from the Contest Organizer. Participants are not required to sign up for this service to participate in this Contest, and registering will not increase your chances of winning. If a participant chooses to register, they thereby grant the Contest Organizer permission to send them future communications regarding services, rewards, offers, promotions, or other messages related to the Contest Organizer’s services and products, from which the participant may unsubscribe at any time. Online consent to participate in the Contest is required for Online Entries.
ENTRY MULTIPLIER
Throughout the Contest Period, the Contest Organizer may announce opportunities to automatically multiply the number of Entries for online purchases, for example, (2X), (5X), (10X), (20X), or (30X) (each a “Multiplier”). When a Multiplier is offered, the Entries will be multiplied by the applicable Multiplier. For example, a $60.00 purchase during a 10X Multiplier offer will result in six hundred (600) Entries (60 x 10 = 600).
No-purchase Entries (as defined below) are not subject to Multipliers. However, when a Multiplier is offered, No-Purchase Entries will receive two hundred (200) Entries. Write the word “LIMITED” by hand in the lower left corner of the envelope to receive an additional one hundred (100) Entries.
The period and duration of a Multiplier will be determined solely by the Contest Organizer and announced on its Website (at Canvai.ca) and/or its social media pages.
BONUS ENTRY
Throughout the Contest Period, the Contest Organizer may announce opportunities to earn Bonus Entries for online purchases (a “Bonus”). Example: Earn 15 Bonus Entries with a purchase of $30.00 to $49.99, 25 Bonus Entries with a purchase of $50.00 to $99.99, and 50 Bonus Entries for any purchase over $100.00. For example, a $60.00 purchase during a Bonus promotion will result in 85 Entries (60 + 25 = 85).
To receive additional Entries during a Bonus promotion without making a purchase, follow the instructions for No-Purchase Entries below. For a Bonus, write the word “BONUS” by hand in the lower right corner of the envelope. Your No-Purchase Entry must be postmarked during the date the Bonus is offered and received within 5 days following the Bonus deadline. If a Bonus ends on a Sunday or federal holiday, the No-Purchase Entry must be postmarked the next business day and received within 5 days following the Bonus deadline.
The period and duration of a Bonus will be determined solely by the Contest Organizer and announced on its Website (at Canvai.ca) and/or its social media pages.
Normal internet access fees, phone charges, and usage charges imposed by your online or telephone service provider may apply. If participating via a mobile device and using your wireless carrier’s network, standard data charges may apply.
NO-PURCHASE ENTRY
To receive sixty (60) Entries without making any purchase or payment of any kind, on a 3" x 5" piece of paper, hand-print your first and last name, address, city, province, postal code, date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy), email address, and telephone number including area code (each a “No-Purchase Entry”). Send your No-Purchase Entry in a standard #10 business envelope with first-class postage to: 1310 rue Gay-Lussac, Suite 207, Boucherville, Quebec, Canada. Your mailing envelope must include a valid return address, including a full first and last name. No-Purchase Entries received without a verifiable and legible return address will be deemed incomplete and invalid. Limit one Entry per mailing envelope. Bulk shipments (multiple Entries in a single package) will not be accepted. The No-Purchase Entry, including the mailing envelope, must be handwritten. No mechanically reproduced or mechanically stamped Entries will be accepted. Entries postmarked on the Contest end date, October 12, 2025, and received by October 15, 2025, will be eligible for the Contest. Each No-Purchase Entry will count as sixty (60) Entries, provided it meets the requirements stated above.
Online Entries and No-Purchase Entries are each hereinafter referred to individually as an “Entry” and collectively as the “Entries.”
No-Purchase Entries that do not comply with the specified format, that are illegible, inaccurate, incomplete, or mechanically reproduced by photocopier or otherwise, will be void. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. The Contest Organizer is not responsible for Entries that are lost, late, illegible, altered, misdirected, insufficiently stamped, or not received by the deadline. All submitted materials become the property of the Contest Organizer and will not be returned. No correspondence will be acknowledged or entered into; requests for confirmation of receipt of No-Purchase Entries will not be acknowledged.
PRIZE DRAWING AND AWARDING
A random draw to select one (1) winner will be held on October 17, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m. EST, from all eligible Online and No-Purchase Entries received. The drawing will be conducted by a representative of the Contest Organizer. The odds of winning the Prize depend solely on the number of eligible Entries received.
HOW TO CLAIM THE PRIZE
The potential winner will be contacted via email and/or telephone and must complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, a prize acceptance form, and a publicity release, in addition to providing a copy of their valid driver’s license. Furthermore, the potential winner must correctly answer a mandatory mathematical skill-testing question, administered via email or phone, before receiving the Prize (without any assistance of any kind, mechanical or otherwise) (collectively, the “Declaration Forms”). All completed Declaration Forms must be returned within five (5) days of the notification attempt.
Failure to return the required Declaration Forms or respond to a notification within the specified time frame, or the return of any Prize/Prize notification as undeliverable, will result in disqualification without further notice, and an alternate winner will be selected. In the event a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, including ineligibility or inability to claim the Prize as specified, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Awarding of the Prize is subject to verification of eligibility and completion of all required Declaration Forms by the potential winner.
PRIZE
One (1) Prize – a used 1999 Mazda RX7 vehicle, with an approximate value of forty thousand dollars ($40,000), taxes included (hereinafter the “Prize”). The Prize consists only of the items specifically listed as part of the Prize.
The winner will be solely responsible for all federal, provincial, and local taxes, as well as all costs and expenses related to acceptance of the Prize not specified herein as being assumed by the Contest Organizer, including but not limited to registration fees, insurance, title and registration fees, costs incurred by the winner related to accepting, picking up/delivering, or using the Prize, fuel, vehicle maintenance, and all other expenses related to acceptance and use of the Prize, including but not limited to transportation changes, incidental charges, tariffs or duties, service fees, or costs and expenses associated with travel required to pick up the Prize. The winner must agree to pick up the Prize at a location specified by the Contest Organizer in Montreal, Quebec, within thirty (30) days following notification of availability by the Contest Organizer; failure to take delivery within thirty (30) days of availability may result in forfeiture of the Prize and awarding to an alternate winner. The winner will be responsible for all aspects of operating the awarded vehicle. The winner must have a valid driver’s license permitting operation of the awarded vehicle in their province of residence and proof of legally required insurance prior to delivery and may be required to provide proof of such documents before being confirmed as the winner.
In the event the winner is unable to take delivery of the Prize or is deemed ineligible for any reason, the winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.
The Prize must be accepted as described in these Rules and may not be substituted, assigned, transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash, subject to the following. In the event it is impossible, difficult, and/or more costly for the Contest Organizer to award the Prize (or any portion thereof) as described in these Rules, the Contest Organizer reserves the right to award a Prize (or any portion thereof) of the same nature and equivalent value or, at the Contest Organizer’s sole discretion, the cash value of the Prize (or portion thereof) as indicated in these Rules.
All details and restrictions of the Prize not specified in these Rules will be determined by the Contest Organizer at its sole discretion.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Limitation of Liability and Release – Non-Delivery of the Prize
The Contest Organizer is not responsible for any delay or cancellation of the delivery of the Prize due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond the Contest Organizer’s control. If the manufacturer and/or vendor cancels the order for reasons beyond the Contest Organizer’s control and the Prize cannot be delivered, no additional compensation will be provided, and if a substitute Prize is provided, the difference in value between the substitute Prize and the advertised Prize will not be provided in cash. The Prize winner assumes all risk of loss, damage, or theft of the Prize after taking ownership, and the Contest Organizer will not replace it. The Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. Only the number of Prizes stated in these Rules is available to be won. If, due to printing, technical, or other errors, more Prizes are claimed than are indicated in these Rules, Prize winners will be selected according to the winner selection method described above from all eligible claimants making allegedly valid claims to award the stated number of Prizes available.
Without limiting the foregoing, except for any warranty provided by the manufacturer and/or vendor, everything regarding this Contest, including but not limited to the Prize and the Website, is provided “as is” without any warranty from the Contest Organizer of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The winner acknowledges that the Contest Organizer has not made, nor is it in any way responsible for, any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any component of the Prize offered in this Contest, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular purpose, and the awarded vehicle may not meet safety or emissions testing requirements in certain provinces and/or municipalities. The winner is responsible for checking applicable emissions requirements and safety inspection requirements in their province and/or municipality before accepting the Prize and must use the Prize in compliance with these regulations.
Limitation of Liability and Release – Participation in the Contest and/or Prize
Participants/winners agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Contest Organizer and the Contest Entities, and their respective subsidiaries, parent companies, affiliates, advertising and promotional partners, internet agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, successors, and assigns from any claim or cause of action or liability for any losses or damages of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Contest, or acceptance/receipt/travel to and/or from the Prize pick-up location, use, misuse, acceptance, receipt, or possession of the Prize, use of any photo, video, and/or entry related to the Contest, or any claim based on rights of publicity, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
The Contest Organizer and the Contest Entities are not responsible if the Contest cannot be administered or conducted as planned and/or if no Prize can be awarded due to cancellations, delays, or interruptions resulting from or arising out of acts of God, war or terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, supply shortages, natural disasters, weather conditions, pandemics, epidemics, compliance with any law or order of a governmental authority, or any other act, event, or occurrence similar in nature beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Organizer. By participating in this Contest, participants agree that the Contest Organizer and the Contest Entities will not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses of any kind, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages to persons or property arising from access to and use of any website associated with the Contest or the downloading or printing of materials downloaded from any such website. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any promotional materials and these Rules, these Rules shall prevail, govern, and control. The Contest Organizer and the Contest Entities are not responsible for any error or omission in the printing of materials or advertising related to the Contest, in the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of the Prize.
Publicity Authorization
Acceptance of the Prize constitutes the winner’s permission and agreement (which agreement shall be confirmed in writing upon request) for the Contest Organizer and the Contest Entities to print, publish, broadcast, and use worldwide at any time or times the winner’s name and/or image, entry, photograph, voice, likeness, opinions, and biographical information (including but not limited to city and province of residence), Prize information, statements attributable to the winner, and any other element of the winner for advertising, commercial, and promotional purposes (including, but not limited to, announcing the winner’s name on television or radio) for advertising and commercial purposes without additional compensation, permission, or notice, publication in a winner’s list, or in a list to be used by the Contest Organizer and the Contest Entities for retargeting participants.
By accepting the Prize, the winner understands and agrees that they may be filmed, recorded, and/or photographed in connection with a Prize presentation ceremony. The rights to any video, audio, and/or photographs from the Prize presentation belong solely to the Contest Organizer and may be used in all media worldwide in perpetuity and in any manner at the Contest Organizer’s sole discretion, without review, notice, approval, consideration, or further compensation to the winner or any third party.

The Contest Organizer and the Contest Entities assume no responsibility for undeliverable emails resulting from any form of active or passive filtering by a user’s internet service provider and/or email provider or for insufficient space in a user’s email account to receive email messages.

Where the Rules allow the use of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, or any other social network for participation, participants are advised that the social media platform and each of its officers and agents assume no responsibility whatsoever in connection with the conduct of the Contest. However, when participating via social media, all rules governing the use of that social media platform apply.

Any changes to the Rules will be posted on the Website. Without limiting the foregoing, the Contest Organizer reserves the right to adjust, without notice, the dates and/or deadlines mentioned in these Rules, if necessary, due to technical problems or other issues, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Contest Organizer, in its sole discretion, affect the proper administration of the Contest as contemplated in these Contest Rules, or for any other reason. The failure of the Contest Organizer to comply with any provision of these Rules due to a factor beyond its control shall not be considered a breach of these Rules.
Participant Identity
In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a participant, the Entry will be deemed to have been made by the individual whose name appears on the online order form or on the No-Purchase Entry. Any damage caused to the Website by a participant shall be the responsibility of the participant and/or the authorized holder of the email account submitted at the time of Entry. Proof of submission of Entries shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Contest Organizer.
Fraud
Any Entries suspected of fraud (including but not limited to those using robotic, automated, programmed, or similar entry methods) will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Contest Organizer. The Contest Organizer reserves the right to prohibit the participation of any person if there is any suspicion of fraud or tampering or if the person fails to comply with any of the entry requirements set out herein or any provision of these Rules.
